I know, I haven't posted much for the last few weeks. Work has been rough, usually 50 hours or more a week. This week was my first 40 hour week. Next week goes back to 50. It's not bad. I'm left alone to do my own thing. I'm given a drawing, the parts, and a list of what needs to be done, and that's it. I do my own setup, my own programming, and then let it run. I run a large Le-Blonde/Makino vertical mill, and have run a 56" vertical lathe, but my favorite is the HAAS vertical mill. I think it's an older VF-4, but I'm not positive. I ran a slightly smaller HAAS at school, so it's the most familiar.

When I get home, I usually have to figure out supper, and deal with the wife, daughter, and the baby. Sometimes I can read the day's worth of Oppo, though more often than not, I don't. I rarely get to read Drudge, even. Forget gaming, or working on the Seven.

It's been depressing. Weekends are usually spent running around shopping, as the wife wants to get out of the house. I don't want to leave it. I've been finding myself lacking motivation for anything, from posting updates, to working on the Seven, to even doing things like playing games. Hopefully this will pass.

Oh well. About wheels.

Santa, if you're out there, here's what my Christmas list consists of:

2 of each, 15x8 and 15x10.

Hey man, I can't say I know exactly how you feel. But I've been in a bit of a stink for a few weeks here too. Some times things are in the shitter, the best we can do is face it, feel it, but understand that feelings are just that, feelings, and to a certain extent reality doesn't change that much day to day compared to the way we feel about it. We might as well be content with the BS, cause at the end of the day you can choose(and you have a Seven!!)... Or something like that.

Anyways, Slick looking wheels, all black huh?

Yeah, I'd prefer black with a polished lip, personally, and deeper lips... I'm a big BBS Porsche racing wheels of the 80's...

As for life... I assure you, I know. I've been to hell and back already. I had brain surgery at 8, with all sorts of shit that came along with it between now and then. I don't feel things quite as most do... hard to explain. Either way, I don't remember what I did yesterday, and I'm not too concerned about tomorrow, so I guess live for today.

I'm sorry to hear that, perfect example of everyone has their own problems. No need to try and explain my friend. Live for today, and be content with life.

A man after my own heart! I dig the colored mesh with polished lip look as well (although who doesn't these days). I'm planning to run a set of dished 16'' meshies on my 67 Mustang coupe. maybe not for everyone, but I think that'l be the sex with some fat rubber wrapped around.

So you're a machinist?

Yep. I could live with something like this:

but with a deeper dish. On certain cars, usually black or black/lime green, I don't mind deep dish white 6-spoke rims either. I'll have to dig up some of my NFS/GRID/SHIFT cars.

Or these, if they could sink a little deeper...

He told me when he bought them, they were the last ones he could get, and they are hard to find. It's possible that you could get them.

If you see these wheels for sale in the Montreal area, or coming out of the east or Ontario, contact me, they might be my friend's.

Huh. I don't know if I could even use them. I have a pretty heavy offset.
